Atholton Adventist Builds New Playground

Church members volunteer at Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center

As part of the church’s Day of Hope and Compassion, Atholton Seventh-day Adventist Church members, with support from the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists and Columbia Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, prepared and served a cookout to residents of the Grassroots shelter recently. Church volunteers also constructed new play equipment in the Children’s Garden at Grassroots. Grassroots is Howard County's 24-7 crisis intervention center and shelter for the homeless. It is located in Columbia.
