• MARC Train launches new direct service between Montgomery County, Baltimore (dcnewsnow.com) — Laurel riders are getting a new one-seat MARC connection to Baltimore starting Sept. 28, with a morning train to the city and an evening return. The Brunswick-Camden run-through service links Laurel with multiple Montgomery County communities and is expected to cut travel times by up to an hour for weekday commuters.
