PG County Under Two Weather Advisories
The advisories last through early Sunday evening for Prince George's County.

There are two weather alerts that affect Prince George’s Sunday, Feb. 15:
- A wind chill advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Sunday, calling for temperatures from single digits to the teens with wind chills that feel like 5 to 25 degrees below. See the Bowie area forecast here.
- Much of the state is under a wind advisory until 4 p.m. Sunday, with the potential for wind gusts from 20 to 30 mph and up to 45 mph that may cause downed power lines and trees, according to the National Weather Service. Officials advised that snow may blow across the area, limiting visibility.
Prince George’s County authorities urge residents who see homeless people out in the frigid temperatures to call the county homeless hotline at (888) 731-0999.
And if your power goes out, call 301-352-1200.
