Police Identify Pedestrian Who Died In Laurel Crash

LAUREL, MD — Laurel Police identified the pedestrian who died after he was hit by a car on Washington Boulevard July 26.

The pedestrian has been identified as Oscar N. Guevera, 49, of Laurel. Guevera died on the scene from his injuries, police said.

The collision occurred at about 7:16 a.m. in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard on Southbound Route One, near Marshall Avenue. Guevara crossed the roadway and was hit by a pickup truck, police said. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, police told Patch.
