Prescription Drug Take Back Day Set for October 28

Get rid of unwanted prescription drugs Oct. 28 by dropping them off at the Laurel Police Department.

From The City of Laurel: If you have any out-of-date prescription drugs, Mayor Craig A. Moe and Laurel Police Chief Richard McLaughlin invite you to take advantage of the Prescription Drug Take Back on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 10:00am - 2:00pm at the Laurel Police Department. They are located at 811 5th Street in Laurel, MD.

This joint effort with the Drug Enforcement Administration helps local law enforcement take accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs off the street and allows you to safely dispose of those medications.

If you can’t attend the event on October 28th, Chief McLaughlin reminds citizens that you can dispose of your expired or unwanted medications year round! The Laurel Police Department has a MedReturn Drug Collection Unit in their lobby at 811 5th Street which is available to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
