Traffic Alert: Lanes Closed on I-95 Overnight for Bridge Repairs

The three left lanes of southbound I-95 (inner loop of the Capital Beltway) will be closed south of MD 5 (Branch Avenue) beginning Thursday night, according to a release from the Maryland State Highway Administration.

The closures will allow crews to repair a bridge joint on the I-95 Bridge over MD 414 (Saint Barnabas Road). All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Friday.

Beginning at 10 tonight, crews will block two left lanes, then close the three left lanes at midnight. For the latest traffic conditions, log on to www.md511.org.
