Vantage Point Hosts Tapas and Tours Open House

Visitors flocked to the recent Tapas and Tours Open House at Residences at Vantage Point, the retirement community in Downtown Columbia.

A display of small plate dishes, bite-sized desserts, Sangria and other drinks contributed to the festive atmosphere during the Life Plan Community's celebratory open house.

Vantage Point has recently completed a comprehensive renovation of the Life Plan Community, and tours included visits to updated common spaces and S.M.A.R.T. model apartments. S.M.A.R.T. is an acronym for a lifestyle that is Savvy, Modern, Affordable, Ready to Go, Tech-centric.

Residences at Vantage Point was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above. Managed by Life Care Services, the community includes a variety of residential living arrangements from studio to three-bedroom apartments. It provides long-term health services available exclusively for residents should they need them.

Residences at Vantage Point is noted for its arts, cultural and educational activities, as well as for resident engagement with the larger community of Columbia. It is located at 5400 Vantage Point Road.
