Wintry Mix Expected in PG County Overnight: Weather Service
Warmer temperatures will plummet as a cold front moves through, National Weather Service reports.

Don’t let the temperatures fool you—while the high in Prince George’s County on Monday is in the low 60s, rain and sleet are likely Monday evening followed by snow Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
There’s a 20 percent chance of showers in the area after 2 p.m. on Monday, the weather service reports, and an 80 percent chance of rain and sleet overnight. The low Monday night is 35 degrees.
Sleet may mix with rain Tuesday morning, with a 90 percent chance of rain and sleet before 1 p.m., according to a hazardous weather outlook the weather service has issued.

The cold front moving through northern Baltimore suburbs Monday night will continue to pass through the area with possible accumulation on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service, which put Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Baltimore and Harford counties on notice.
In the county, sleet accumulations are expected to be minimal, according to the weather service. Tuesday’s temps should be in the upper 30s.
