PLEASE JOIN the Woman’s Club of Laurel at Tampico Grill on Tuesday, November 19 between 11am and 9:30pm to enjoy a tasty meal and help raise money for our “Literacy for Little Ones Project”. This project is designed to encourage a love of books at an early age. The Woman’s Club donates a storybook with a huggable stuffed animal to children ages 3 through Kindergarten in Laurel school programs. A suggestion card for the family is included with ideas on ways to encourage a cozy reading time and foster pre-literacy skills at home. Tampico Grill will give the Club a generous portion of the sales that day. So please make a note on your calendar – November 19th is the day to enjoy the best Mexican food around while helping to promote literacy among our young children. Plan to come hungry!
