Crime Report: Armed Robbery in North Village, Attempted Burglary in Stedwick

Latest police summary covers Jan. 31 through Feb. 8

The following is from the most recent crime summary for the Montgomery County Police Department's Sixth District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.

An armed robbery occurred in the 9400 block of Chadburn Place in North Village at around 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The adult male victim was approached by the suspect, who displayed a weapon and demanded property. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, 5'4" tall, missing a front tooth and wearing a black coat and dark pants.

An attempted burglary occurred on Crested Iris Court in Stedwick between Friday, Feb. 4 and Monday, Feb. 7. Entry was attempted using force but was unsuccessful.
