After a hard-luck start to the season, the Wolverines amassed a 12-2 record against 3A opponents, including a pair of wins over the Titans (2-12 3A, 2-20 overall) -- 49-36 on Jan. 3 at home and 54-48 on Jan. 30 at Einstein.
A victory on Friday night would put the Wolverines (12-10 overall) on the road on Tuesday night to face No. 3-seed Tuscarora (9-4 3A, 17-5 overall).
