Montgomery Village Man With Dementia Located (Upated)

Montgomery County Police say a missing Montgomery Village man who has dementia was located Monday.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD — A Montgomery Village man with dementia, who was reported missing, was found Tuesday afternoon, officials say. Tejan Jobe was safe and unharmed.

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help as officers try to locate a missing Montgomery Village man who suffers from dementia.

Tejan Jobe, 60, left his Jarrett Court residence about 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7. Family members have not had contact with him since then, police said late Monday night.

Jobe is described as an African American male, 5′ 9″ tall, and weighs about 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a grey shirt, grey pants, and white tennis shoes.

In addition to being diagnosed with dementia, he is not carrying identification or a cell phone.

Police and family are concerned for Jobe’s welfare. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tejan Jobe is asked to call 9-1-1.
