Montgomery County Public Schools Alter Monday Schedule

Montgomery County Public Schools will dismiss at regular times Monday, but all school-sponsored afterschool and evening activities are canceled.

School officials announced at 12:35 p.m. that day-care programs in school buildings will remain open as scheduled.

Community use activities in school buildings will occur, as scheduled.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday for Anne Arundel, Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Montgomery counties and surrounding areas. Between 3-6 inches of snow are expected.

The Winter Storm Watch has been cancelled for the region.
