Snow Storm: Tuesday Commute Concerns, School Closings

Winter Storm Juno is bringing heavy snow to the north, but Maryland got its share of snow, too, Monday night.

Drivers Tuesday should prepare for a difficult commute, according to the Maryland Transportation Department. And here are some winter driving tips from AAA.

School closings/delays:

• Baltimore City Public Schools
• Baltimore County Public Schools
• Carroll County Public Schools
• Cecil County Public Schools
• Harford County Public Schools
• Howard County Public Schools
• Montgomery County Public Schools
• Prince George’s County Schools
• Anne Arundel students are already off Tuesday for semester break.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday for Anne Arundel, Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Montgomery counties and surrounding areas.
