MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD — Five people have been displaced after a fire tore through a townhouse in Montgomery Village Tuesday afternoon, fire officials said.

Montgomery County firefighters responded to the 20200 block of Lea Pont Court around 1:15 p.m. and were able to quickly knock down the blaze.
