• Woman calls Montgomery County police to oust snake after animal control MIA (newsbreak.com) — An elderly Montgomery Village resident got unexpected help from a Montgomery County police officer after animal control couldn't immediately respond to a snake hiding under her bed. Bodycam video shows the officer calmly coaxing the two-foot snake out, carrying it outside, and releasing it, with officials noting it likely slithered in from a nearby lake and no one was hurt.
