Snow Totals: How Much Did Montgomery Co. Get?
The region saw a range of measurements, on top of weekend accumulation.

The most snowfall in Montgomery County was 4.2 inches near Fairland, while Silver Spring had 4 inches and only 2.8 inches fell in Germantown, according to preliminary numbers from the National Weather Service.

- WNW Olney: 4.1 inches
- SW Gaithersburg: 4.0 inches
- NNW Takoma Park: 4.0 inches
- Silver Spring: 4.0 inches
- WNW Bethesda: 3.6 inches
- Rockville: 3.2 inches
- Germantown: 2.8 inches
Originally, between 6 and 10 inches of snow was predicted to fall in the county between Monday night and Tuesday morning, according to a winter storm warning.
The most snow in the state was reported in St. Mary’s County, with 8.1 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow on Top of Snow
The latest snowfall came on top of the Valentine’s Day weekend storm, which delivered high winds and a bit of snow in the region.
Annapolis had 6 inches as of 8:31 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14, according to unofficial reports from the National Weather Service. Hickory had winds up to 49 mph at 3:04 a.m. Sunday as well.
The most snow from the weekend storm was in Allegany County, which had 5 inches in Frostburg reported at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. Parts of Howard County (Simpsonville and Columbia) had at least 4 inches, according to the unofficial reports.
