Teens Smash 30 Car Windshields In Montgomery Village

Three teenage boys were arrested for smashing over 30 car windshields in Montgomery Village, police said.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD — Three teens used baseball bats and fire extinguishers to destroy over 30 cars' windshields in Montgomery Village early Monday morning, police said.

Police told Patch they received a call at around 1:15 a.m. Monday morning reporting suspects smashing cars' windshields. As of noon Monday, police confirmed that 36 cars on Christopher Avenue, Gallop Hill Road and Leathernfern Terrace were damaged.

Police located the three males — two 15-year-olds and one 14-year-old — in the area at around 3 a.m. They were arrested on misdemeanor charges, police said.
