• 92nd U.S. Naval Academy Commandant Announced (usna.edu) — A new Commandant of Midshipmen has been named for the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, with Capt. Clinton A. Cornell set to assume the role in June 2026. His leadership will directly shape the daily training, conduct, and development of the 4,400-member Brigade of Midshipmen. Residents can expect continuity in the Academy’s mission of preparing future Navy and Marine Corps officers.
