• Man found shot after police respond to disorderly group in Bethesda (wjla.com) — Police say a man was found shot early Sunday on the 12200 block of Wilkins Avenue in North Bethesda and is expected to survive after being taken to the hospital. Officers had responded to reports of a disorderly group, and while the scene is now secure, no arrests have been made as the investigation continues. 
• Elrich Cites 26 Fatal Crashes While Defending County's Speed Limit Reductions (mocoshow.com) — Speed limits are set to be reduced on Josiah Henson Parkway and Montrose Road in North Bethesda as part of Montgomery County’s broader Vision Zero safety push. County leaders say lower speeds and new traffic-calming measures aim to cut serious crashes, especially involving pedestrians, after 26 traffic fatalities so far this year.
