• Police detain 4, Montgomery County schools in secure status after shooting reports (washingtontimes.com) — Several North Bethesda-area schools, including North Bethesda Middle and multiple nearby elementaries, were placed on secure status Wednesday after reports of shots fired on Rockledge Drive in Bethesda. Police detained four people and reported no injuries, while investigators still work to confirm whether any shooting actually occurred as classes continued inside locked buildings.
