2-Alarm Fire Reported in Roland Park

BALTIMORE, MD – A two-alarm fire has prompted road closures in Roland Park Friday morning, officials say.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., there was a structure ablaze in the 100 block of Longwood Road, the Baltimore Office of Emergency Management reported.

Five residents escaped, unharmed, from the house fire, which broke out before 6 a.m., according to Fox 45.

As of 8 a.m., Baltimore transportation officials said the impact on traffic in the Roland Park area was "severe" and advised drivers to use alternate routes.

Officials advised people to expect delays on Club Road.
