3-Year-Old Killed in Crash Near Penn North: Police
Officials said child and her mother were crossing the street when they were hit.

A 3-year-old girl was killed walking with her mother in the Penn North area Monday afternoon, according to Baltimore Police.
Investigators believe the two were hit by a Mitsubishi Lancer that was turning from North onto Pennsylvania avenues at approximately 3:15 p.m., according to police.
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and was uninjured.

The 3-year-old was taken to an area hospital, where she later died, according to police.
The child’s 26-year-old mother was taken to an area hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
