WHAT:

- A Feed My Starving Children MobilePack event, at which an estimated 5 million life-saving meals are expected to be packed.
- 30,000 volunteers from area churches and communities in and around our region plan to hand-pack enough meals to feed approximately 14,000 children for a year.
- In addition, volunteers are asked to bring a canned food item that will be collected by the Capital Area Food Bank and distributed to local communities throughout the area.
WHEN:
- Friday May 13 through Sunday May 15, 2016
- Friday 9 am – 10 pm
- Saturday 9 am – 10 pm
- Sunday 9 am – 5:30 pm

- WHO:
- Feed My Starving Children, a Christian non-profit that sends volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to 70 countries around the world.
- Local partner, the Northstar Church Network, includes 170 Northern Virginia area churches. The partnership was inspired by New Hope Church’s (Lorton, Va.) 6-year collaboration with Feed My Starving Children.
- Volunteers from the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area in 2 ½ hour shifts throughout the weekend.
