911 Has Been Restored: Baltimore Mayor
Citizens can once again call 911 in the event of an emergency, Baltimore mayor says; use 311 if issues persist.

BALTIMORE, MD — The 911 system is back in business, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake reported before 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday. She advised using 311 if there are any difficulties.
Emergency officials had advised citizens earlier in the evening to dial 311 in case of emergencies.
