Art with a Heart “Holiday Open House” at HeARTwares, Nov. 26
Event with live music, food and community art projects to support nonprofit's visual art program

BALTIMORE—Art with a Heart –a non-profit arts organization based in Hampden, will host its Holiday Open House, Saturday, November 26, from 5 to 7 p.m., at its social enterprise/retail store, HeARTwares (623 W. 34th St., Baltimore, MD 21211) in Hampden Village Centre.
While enjoying the first night of Miracle on 34th Street lights, this free event will inlcude light refreshments, holiday shopping, and the opportunity to participate in a community art project. An evening of merriment and celebration commemorates the sixth anniversary of HeARTwares, Art with a Heart’s social enterprise/retail store. Proceeds from the store support Art with a Heart programming, and the artists, and Art with a Heart’s community partners.

Art with a Heart’s mission is to enhance the lives of people in need through visual art. Founded in 2000, the non-profit brings its visual art programs into schools, shelters, group homes, community centers, recreation centers, permanent housing facilities, hospitals and senior facilities. It has grown from four small classes a week to more than 11,000 a year, along with many community-wide projects and public art initiatives.
