Baltimore County Police: 31-YEAR-OLD KILLED IN FATAL CRASH ON BUTLER ROAD

August 23, 2021

31-year-old, Robert Leister of Hillcrest Avenue, 21074, died after being involved in a vehicle crash.

Just after 10 p.m. on August 20, 2021, Leister was traveling westbound on Butler Road when he lost control of his 2007 GMC Sierra striking a 2014 Dodge Ram. Leister’s GMC then struck a guardrail, left the roadway and overturned before coming to rest in a field. Leister was pronounced deceased on scene.

The driver of the Dodge was unharmed.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing its investigation to determine the factors involved in this fatal crash.
