Baltimore County Police: Crash Claims Life Of 19 Year Old

On Thursday evening, just before 10:30 p.m., investigators were called to the scene of a crash at Liberty and Rusty Rock roads. Investigators have determined the driver was attempting to pass a vehicle at a high rate of speed. The driver, who was traveling eastbound, lost control of his vehicle in the 8800 block of Liberty Road. After leaving the roadway, the vehicle struck a curb, mailbox, and light pole. The driver, 19-year-old Ian Wallace, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
