It’s been more than three decades since a child’s lifeless body was discovered in a dumpster behind a grocery store in Halethorpe. On Sept. 9, 1987, farmers collecting scraps to feed their livestock discovered the fully-developed male infant, Baby Boy Doe, inside a tied-up white trash bag.
Despite an exhaustive investigation by detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department, the infant’s identity remains a mystery. With advancements in forensic technology, detectives are again reaching out to the public in hopes someone has information that may help identify the infant.
