Baltimore's Classic Five Golf Courses to host 20th Annual Turkey Shoot
Thanksgiving morning golf outings to be held at Pine Ridge, Mount Pleasant, Forest Park & Clifton Park Golf Courses

BALTIMORE, Md. – Baltimore Municipal Golf Corporation (BMGC), also known as Baltimore’s Classic Five, will host its 20th annual Turkey Shoot outings on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Pine Ridge, Mount Pleasant, Forest Park and Clifton Park golf courses in Baltimore, Md.
“Our annual Turkey Shoot events have become time-honored Baltimore traditions,” said Jon Ladd, BMGC’s Executive Director. “Every year, golfers around the area look forward to the Turkey Shoot, as it provides a great opportunity for golfers to get in a fun round of golf with family and friends in the morning before the Thanksgiving festivities begin at home later in the afternoon.”
The Turkey Shoot golf outings will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Pine Ridge, Mount Pleasant, Forest Park and Clifton Park golf courses with a shotgun start. The registration fee, which includes a buffet breakfast, greens and cart fees, and various contests and prizes, is $59 at Pine Ridge, $48 at Mount Pleasant, $36 at Forest Park and $55 at Clifton Park.

At Clifton Park, the Turkey Shoot will feature a “Captain’s Choice” format, with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, in addition to contests for closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive. While there will not be a team competition at Forest Park, Mount Pleasant or Pine Ridge, there will be prizes for closest to the pin.
Space is limited at each Turkey Shoot location, so golfers must pre-pay to reserve a space. Golfers can register for one of the Turkey Shoots by visiting or calling any of the respective golf course pro shops or online. The Turkey Shoots will be held regardless of weather.
