Bernie Sanders Coming To Baltimore
U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is attending a Baltimore campaign rally to promote gubernatorial hopeful Ben Jealous and universal health care.

BALTIMORE, MD — Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will be rallying in Maryland the first week in December. He plans to attend a "Medicare-for-All" event at Notre Dame on Dec. 6.
The event is billed as rally about universal health care and an opportunity to support gubernatorial hopeful Ben Jealous, a contender for the Democratic nomination in the 2018 election against Gov. Larry Hogan.
Jealous announced in June that if elected governor, he would try to institute a single-payer health care system, according to The Washington Post.

Jealous, who is a former NAACP president, also co-chaired the Sanders campaign.
When Sanders visited Baltimore in April 2016 as he tried to win the Democratic bid for President, Jealous rallied for the Vermont Senator during a campaign event in Druid Hill Park.
