Courthouse Evacuated in Baltimore City

Officials say Courthouse East is being cleared out for a drill.

BALTIMORE, MD — A safety drill led to the evacuation of a Baltimore City courthouse Thursday afternoon.

Courthouse East was the site of a life safety drill, the Department of General Services reported after 2 p.m.

The building was evacuated for the drill, which was a joint effort between the Baltimore City Fire Department and general services.
