Falls Road to Be Resurfaced After Water Main Repairs: Officials
The Baltimore Department of Public Works announces tentative reopening for Lake Avenue at Falls Road.
After emergency repairs caused water service disruptions and traffic pattern changes, Falls Road should reopen completely Thursday morning, according to the Baltimore Department of Public Works.
Falls Road will be resurfaced overnight in the area of Lake Avenue, and should be completely open in time for the Thursday morning rush hour, officials said.
Water service was shut off Wednesday in the 21208 zip code so that crews could repair a 10-inch water main, a fix that public works officials reported was complete by 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.
