Jacqui Lampell To Chair The Children's Home's FACES 2015 Fundraiser
Signature Art, Food and Wine Event Takes Place Oct. 29 at Baltimore Museum of Industry
CATONSVILLE, Md. –The Children’s Home has named communications, marketing and brand management veteran, Jacqueline (Jacqui) Lampell chair of FACES 2015 – its signature art, food and wine fundraiser.
“I am delighted to chair the FACES event for the Children’s Home this year,” said Lampell, who joined the event committee last year. “I have witnessed first-hand what a difference a safe and secure residential facility can make in the life of a young person.”
“By supporting the Children’s Home, we are giving young people a place to call their own, at a time in their lives when that stability is most needed,” she added. “The FACES event allows every member of our community to participate and join with us in supporting the great work of the Children’s Home.”

A recipient of the Public Relations Society of America-Maryland Chapter’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Lampell spent more than two decades of service working for the state of Maryland – most recently as the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development’s marketing and communications director.
Since 2012, Lampell has managed civic engagement for the Star Spangled 200, opened her own marketing and communications consulting firm and worked on projects for Maryland Public Television, the Mental Health Association of Maryland, Coalition for Juvenile Justice and V-LINC.

Lampell currently serves as project director for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Centennial and board secretary for the Maryland Family Network. She resides in Catonsville with her husband, Angelo Colianni.
About FACES 2015 & The Children’s Home
FACES 2015 will take place Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Baltimore Museum of Industry in downtown Baltimore. With “Creating Endless Possibilities” as the theme, the cocktail-style celebration will feature dinner and dessert stations, live music, interactive art tables, live and silent auctions and more. Established in 1863 as an orphanage for children abandoned due to the Civil War, The Children’s Home is now recognized as one of Maryland’s premier providers of short- and long-term residential treatment care for Maryland youth, ages 13–21, who are victims of abuse, neglect, abandonment or family crisis and may be in need of structured and supervised care.
A 501 (c) 3 organization, The Children’s Home operates from its 44-acre campus in Catonsville and Treatment Foster Care office in Baltimore. With support from the community, the non-profit provides a comprehensive program of academic support, recreation, therapeutic counseling, arts and culture and life skills to give each child the opportunity to become a happy and productive citizen. Three of its most exciting program endeavors are weekly equestrian/pet therapies, entrepreneurial expressive arts and job placement assistance for older teens.
