Man Shot And Injured On 33rd Street: Police

Police said a teen realized he had been shot after hearing gunfire on 33rd Street Tuesday night in north Baltimore.

BALTIMORE, MD — Police said a gunshot wound victim who walked into an area hospital Tuesday night had been in the area of 33rd Street when he was shot. The victim — a 19-year-old man — said he heard three gunshots and then realized he had been hit, according to police. He was near 33rd at Frisby street at the time of the shooting, he reported.

Patrol officers from the Eastern District learned of the shooting when they were called to an area hospital for a walk-in gunshot wound victim around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, police said.

The teen had been shot in the chest, according to officials.
