Nursing Home Fire Reported In North Baltimore
Fire officials say they are responding to a nursing home fire Saturday afternoon on Falls Road.

BALTIMORE, MD — Fire broke out in a nursing home in north Baltimore Saturday afternoon, according to the Baltimore Firefighters Union.
The fire was in the 4600 block of Falls Road, officials reported.
Two residents of the ManorCare facility near Cross Keys were hospitalized and one officer was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the fire, the newspaper reported.
After 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, authorities said they were working to contain the situation, which was the second fire of the day in the north part of the city.

Earlier, crews in northeastern Baltimore responded to a house fire in the 2700 block of Beechland Avenue.
