Paul's Place Hosts First Inaugural Huff & Puff 5K

BALTIMORE, Md. – November 4, 2015 – Paul’s Place, Inc., a community outreach center dedicated to improving the quality of life in Southwest Baltimore, invites the community to participate in the first inaugural Huff & Puff 5K. The race will be held, rain or shine, in Carroll Park on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. In keeping with the race’s The Three Little Pigs theme, participants are encouraged to show their spirit by dressing as pigs or wolves.

The race is geared for advanced runners, recreational runners and casual walkers alike. There will be professional chip timing for those looking to record a best time and a pre-race warm-up exercise led by Maribeth Livingston of Brick Bodies. Megan McCorkell of WJZ Eyewitness News will serve as the event emcee. Following the race, participants are invited to celebrate by visiting the event’s beer garden featuring the Harpoon Brewery Beer Truck and many food trucks from The Gathering Baltimore. There will also be a live DJ and free parking at the Montgomery Park Building.
