Point Breeze Credit Union Supports Local Police Departments Through Community Support Campaign

Point Breeze Credit Union continues its goal of enriching the community by being a good neighbor and giving back.

Point Breeze Credit Union recently kicked off a community support campaign to support local police departments within its service areas. Team members from each of the Credit Union’s three offices dropped off lunch to two Baltimore County Police Department stations (Precinct 7 and Precinct 9) and the Bel Air Police Department.

Point Breeze initiated the campaign to support its overall mission of enriching the local community and helping residents thrive.

“The men and women of local law enforcement have unwaveringly served our members, staff and the Credit Union,” said president and CEO Bernie McLaughlin. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to say thank you and fulfill the credit union motto of people helping people.”

In addition to serving lunch to the entire station, Point Breeze also delivered dozens of handwritten thank you notes written by its staff. The Credit Union chose to support law enforcement during the summer since giving campaigns typically happen around the holidays.
