Inaugural Leadership Day of Service Brings Together Leaders for Roundtable and Volunteering

Paul’s Place, Inc., a community outreach center dedicated to improving the quality of life in Southwest Baltimore, is holding its inaugural Leadership Day of Service on March 29, 2016. Andy Bertamini, Maryland Regional President of Wells Fargo, organized the day in partnership with Bill McLennan, executive director of Paul’s Place.
Business leaders from 13 of Baltimore’s top corporations will spend the day serving food to Paul’s Place guests, helping guests select clothing in the Marketplace and carrying out other volunteer activities. Represented companies include Baltimore Gas & Electric, Bank of America, Bon Secours, Cushman & Wakefield, DLA Piper, Kaiser Permanente, Murthy Law Firm, OneMain Financial, T. Rowe Price, The Harbor Bank, University of Maryland, Wells Fargo and Your Answer Solutions Center.
In addition to the volunteer activities, business leaders will participate in a roundtable discussion on corporate social responsibility and the value that employee volunteerism brings to their companies and to Baltimore communities. Executives also will discuss plans to increase these efforts in 2016.
