Why college kids should know their options in the best college tablets? You know that college kids are busy with tasks, paperwork, and assignments so it is only logical if they have the handy tablet to help them study. Laptops are getting old โ€“ imagine the weight. Not to mention that it takes a while to boot and the inefficient operation. For college students, tablets are more preferable. They are lighter. They have the similar specs and features โ€“ just like the laptops for college. And most importantly, these gadgets can help them study and work. So, what are the good options for students, anyway?

The Important Considerations
Among the myriads of options out there, finding out which tablets for the studentsโ€™ life can be quite challenging. However, you need to remember their major functions as well as the supporting features. For instance, if you need them for typing or general entertainment (listening to music or streaming movies online), you donโ€™t really need a sophisticated tablet. However, if you need the one for higher performance or more difficult work โ€“ graphic design, etc โ€“ you may need a more sophisticated device which can be costlier too.

Some of the Options
If you want a tablet already packed with Windows 10 and a nice 12 inch screen size, you can consider Microsoft Surface Pro. The cool thing about surface pro is that it has its own stylus used for OneNote. If you want to add a keyboard, you need to spend extra money for it but with the additional keyboard, your tablet can look like a laptop โ€“ which is very versatile and handy for different use. After all, this gadget is running on M3 Intel Core process with rather generous storage space 128GB. If you donโ€™t mind spending extra, there are other versions with faster 15 or i7 chips and they have more storage capacity. But if you are rather low on the budget, you can consider the smaller Surface 3 with its 10.6 inch size.

12 inch seems like an ideal size for tablets right โ€“ it is not too big and or small and you can still view everything comfortably. No need to squint. No need to add the extra minus on the eyeglasses. And if you are looking for another flexible tablet, the iPad Pro from Apple is another good option for you. Unlike the others, this one has two cameras: in front and on the back. It comes with various storage capacities, starting from 32Gb to 256GB. The dual core 64 bit 2.26GHz processor is responsive and fast enough to handle general task. If you want to turn it into a laptop, you can have the Apple Smart Keyboard. If you want to have the hand drawn notes, there is Apple Pencil stylus to help you. A worthy item, donโ€™t you think?

Another option is the Galaxy Tab pro S. This is another Windows 10 device with 12 inch AMOLED screen. It has a clip on keyboard, which makes it different from the others. It is running on M3 Intel Core 2.2 GHZ dual core with 128GB storage and RAM 4GB. The ports are quite minimal but it doesnโ€™t stop it from being included in the best tablets for college list.
