Vehicle Fire Closed I-83 South Past North Avenue

BALTIMORE, MD - A vehicle fire temporarily closed Interstate 83 south past the North Avenue exit, Baltimore emergency management officials said Friday afternoon.

Authorities reported that first responders were tending to a vehicle blaze on the southbound part of the road.

The impact on traffic was "severe," according to the Baltimore Department of Transportation.
