Vehicles Submerged in Woodberry, Police Say
A section of I-83 was temporarily closed due to flooding.
BALTIMORE, MD — Multiple people were trapped in vehicles partly submerged in water in Woodberry, the Baltimore Police Department reported Saturday night.
A section of Interstate 83 was closed—between Falls Road and Coldspring Lane—due to flooding, police said.
By 11:30 p.m., that part of I-83 had reopened, police reported.

First responders were working on the water rescues after 10 p.m. in the Woodberry area.
A flash flood warning was in effect for Baltimore until 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, issued by the National Weather Service.

Citizens are advised to watch out for standing water and take time if they need to be on the roads.
We have several people trapped in partially submerged vehicles in the Woodberry area. Please be mindful of standing water. It's dangerous.
