zTrip Launch Supports Local Charities

To celebrate the launch of its new zTrip smartphone app, Transdev is sponsoring several area events, including the Shock Trauma Gala.

To celebrate the launch of its new zTrip smartphone app, Transdev’s Yellow and Checker Cab of Baltimore continues its 100+ year tradition of community involvement by sponsoring numerous charitable events – including this weekend’s Sole of the City 10K and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center Gala.

Available for both iOS and Android, the zTrip app offers riders:

This weekend, zTrip will be a sponsor of the Under Armour 2016 Sole of the City 10K presented by KELLY. To be held in Baltimore this Saturday, April 16 from 9am – noon, Sole of the City will benefit Reading Partners, whose mission is to mobilize communities to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by the fourth grade.

zTrip will also be one of the sponsors of the 2016 R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center Gala, being held this Saturday from 6 p.m. – midnight at the Baltimore Convention Center. The Gala honors the lifesaving work of the teams that comprise Maryland’s elite system of trauma care, with all proceeds directly supporting the work of Shock Trauma.

zTrip will make a donation to Reading Partners for every person who downloads the zTrip app at the 10K, and to Shock Trauma for every person who downloads the zTrip app during the Gala.

zTrip is donating $10 to Kennedy Krieger Institute for every new user who downloads and registers the zTrip app before Saturday, April 30. To download the app, simply go to the App Store, download the zTrip app, and enter the promo code HELPKIDS.

zTrip will also serve as a sponsor of several other upcoming charitable events, including Reading Partners’ Tutor Appreciation Night (May 19) and the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Baltimore 10-Miler (June 4), benefitting Athletes Serving Athletes, Back on My Feet, the American Diabetes Association, and The Signal 13 Foundation.
