zTRIP WILL SPONSOR ROYAL FARMS ARENA, PIER SIX PAVILION

zTrip – the popular smartphone app that enables riders to book a black car or taxi for now or later – has signed sponsorship deals with two of Baltimore’s largest entertainment venues, Royal Farms Arena and Pier Six Pavilion.

zTrip has entered into a one-year contract with Royal Farms Arena, with an option to renew for a second year. zTrip will serve as a sponsor for various concerts and other events, and will be co-promoting contests for ticket giveaways for events being held at the Arena. The app will also be designated as a preferred transportation option on the Arena’s website, and will have an official pick-up area for passengers outside the Arena.

zTrip’s sponsorship deal with Rams Head Group, which operates Pier Six Pavilion, designates zTrip as the venue’s “official transportation provider” through the end of the 2016 concert season. Like the Royal Farms deal, zTrip’s agreement with Rams Head Group will include co-promoting ticket giveaways and a special code for discounted rides to and from concerts held at Pier Six Pavilion, available on all the tickets for official ticket buyers.

Both entertainment venues will include zTrip in their social media posts and e-blasts.

zTrip users will be able not only to hail a cab or black car on the street, but also to book a ride for now or later by phone or with the zTrip app. This means no waiting on the curb for a car to arrive. Customers also won’t have to wait to make transportation arrangements until the last minute. They can book a black car on a Tuesday for a trip they need to make on Friday morning.
