• Montgomery Co. nonprofit delivers hundreds of reusable menstrual pads to girls in Comoros (wtop.com) — A Montgomery County nonprofit that sews reusable menstrual pads now has active sewing and cutting chapters in North Potomac, letting local volunteers directly support girls' education in Comoros. Residents can join Rockville and North Potomac chapters, which have already helped more than 600 girls stay in school by providing durable, low-cost menstrual kits and training local women to keep the effort going.
   

• Katherine Sarkisov and Enzo Hincapie Secure Top 10 Road… (usacycling.org) — Two cyclists from North Potomac, sisters Alyssa and Katherine Sarkisov, represented the U.S. at the UCI Road World Championships, with Katherine earning an impressive seventh-place finish in the U23 women's road race.
