• Montgomery County to Celebrate Active Aging Week With More Than 50 Events (mocoshow.com) — Older adults in North Potomac can join the county's Active Aging Week kickoff on Monday, Oct. 5, at the Nancy H. Dacek North Potomac Community Recreation Center on Travilah Road. The free event offers dozens of workshops, fitness classes, games, and health screenings, with more activities continuing across Montgomery County through Oct. 11 for residents 55 and older.
