$100K Winning Scratch Ticket Bought By Severn Man In Odenton
The unidentified Severn resident hid his scratch ticket in his closet for months, waiting until the New Year to redeem it.
SEVERN, MD — One stunned Severn resident couldn't believe it when he won $100,000 on a scratch ticket. In fact, the 56-year-old hid the ticket in his closet for months until the first business day of the New Year when he redeemed it at Maryland Lottery headquarters.
The man, who works as a project manager for a telecommunications company, bought the ticket at Lucky's Deli & Market in Odenton and kept secret about what he plans to do with his winnings, other than pay bills, the Maryland Lottery reported.
