11 Homes Planned Off Gambrills Road

Koch Homes has applied to build 11 lots on 55 acres near where Gambrills Road crosses Route 32.

A local homebuilder is proposing construction of 11 new single family homes adjacent to where Gambrills Road crosses Route 32.

Koch Homes is named as the developer in an application for final approval before the Anne Arundel County Office of Planning and Zoning. The project, referred to as Stonegate Forest, would sit on 55 acres on the west side of Tobin Road, just west of Gambrills Road.

Koch, based in Annapolis, is currently advertising five other home developments in Anne Arundel County, as well as one on Kent Island. All of those projects are being marketed for their proximity to Fort Meade, and the company offers a $5,000 to all buyers in the military or moving to the area due to the addition of jobs at the Army base. The company also has a dedicated BRAC relationship manager.

Officials from Koch did not return calls requesting comment on the project.

The county granted sketch plan approval in January. It will be collecting comments on the proposal through April 29.
