$19K in Heroin, $18K Cash Seized in Anne Arundel, Baltimore Drug Raid

Two Baltimore men are charged with selling $19K worth of heroin following a raid led by Anne Arundel County's heroin task force.

BALTIMORE, MD — Two Baltimore men charged with selling heroin in Anne Arundel County were arrested Tuesday on numerous drug-trafficking and weapons charges, authorities say. During a search of the suspects' house, police reportedly found about $19,000 worth of heroin, along with roughly $18,000 in cash.

Members of the Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force, which includes the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office, the Annapolis City Police Department and the Baltimore Police Department, with the assistance of the Baltimore Police SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 2200 block of Cedley Street in Baltimore City. The search and arrests came after a five-month investigation into drug trafficking in Anne Arundel County and the Baltimore area, authorities said in a news release.

  • 159.2 grams of heroin with an estimate street value $19,104
  • Cutting agent
  • Digital scale
  • About 250 empty gel-capsules
  • Various manufacturing/packaging equipment and material
  • $18,938 cash
  • Electronic money counter
  • .22 caliber handgun with obliterated serial number
  • 100 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition
