2 Glen Burnie Men Charged With Drug Sales, Gun Crimes

Two Glen Burnie men face multiple drug and weapons charges after police stopped their vehicle in the Severn area and smelled marijuana.

SEVERN, MD — Two Glen Burnie men face multiple drug and weapons charges after Anne Arundel County Police stopped their vehicle Wednesday afternoon in the Severn area. Detectives on patrol conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation at Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle. When detectives approached the vehicle they immediately smelled marijuana, police said in a statement.

During a search of the vehicle, detectives reportedly found 56.31 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, a Smith and Wesson .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun loaded with 14 rounds, and $2,116 in cash.

The two men arrested are Mack Samuel Galloway III, 21, of the 400 block of Mainview Court in Glen Burnie, and Michael Antonio Mack, 32, of the 300 block of Rose Avenue in Glen Burnie.

Galloway is being held without bond on ten drug and weapons charges, including possession of drugs with intent to distribute and use of a firearm in a drug-trafficking crime.

Court records show Mack is being held without bond on 11 drug and weapons charges, including felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drugs with intent to distribute and use of a firearm in a drug-trafficking crime.
