4 Robberies Unfold In 2 Days In Anne Arundel County
Anne Arundel County police officers responded to four robberies in a two-day period recently. Three clerks were injured.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Anne Arundel County officers responded to four robberies in two days' time with three occurring on Sunday. Officers first responded to an attempted robbery at the 7-Eleven at 495 Old Mill Road in Millersville at approximately 5 a.m. Nov. 16. A man walked into the store, demanded money from the clerk then assaulted the clerk with a pry tool, according to a police report. The clerk and the suspect struggled, then the suspect ran off. The clerk sustained minor injuries because of the altercation.
On Nov. 17, officers responded to an armed robbery at approximately 7:25 at the Citgo gas station at 501 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. A man walked into the business, pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The clerk handed over money and the suspect took off. Officers searched the area but could not locate the man who is described as 6-feet-tall, thin build, wearing dark-colored clothes, according to a police report.
At 10:15 p.m. that same day, officers were alerted to an armed robbery at the Dollar General at 8375 Veteran's Highway in Millersville. Two men walked in, pulled out handguns and said they were robbing the store. They took cash from the register and then took off. Officers searched the area but could not find them. One of the clerks was treated for a minor injury. The suspects were described as wearing dark clothing.

Less than an hour later, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at the CVS at 2003 Davidsonville Road in Crofton. Two men jumped over the pharmacy counter and one sprayed an employee with pepper spray then they both began dumping prescription medications into a bag. While exiting the store, however, they managed to drop the bag. Police could not find the suspects and the employee sprayed with pepper spray was treated.
